Long Time No See!


A year or so ago, I created the Archetype Selector as a way to make sense of the magic system in my game. This version includes that and so much more -- a brief dive into lore, multiple characters to interact with (and by multiple, I mean 4), the Blade and Faith selectors, as well as the beginning stages of the Combat portion of the Trial. This game is still very much in its infancy; while I've been working on the story itself for nearly a decade, it is only recently that I started to make the transition from novel to game/interactive fiction -- and while I have plenty of experience with storytelling, coding is a new beast altogether. And since coding is still something I'm figuring out, I decided that it didn't make any sense to continue sitting on this portion of the game while trying to figure out the intricacies of the combat system. So I hope you enjoy! I've definitely enjoyed making it :)
